All over Bergen County, basements and closets are filled with used furniture, clothes and toys that have been cared for and enjoyed but no longer fit your needs.   
  • the clothes your teen wore a few times, and then sat in the closet
  • the furniture that is still in good shape, but you just redecorated
  • the crib, high chair and stroller that your last child has outgrown
  • the computer or TV that still works, but you replaced with a new model 
Urban Exchange is a teen based community service organization that collects your gently used household surplus and places it directly into the hands of families struggling to make ends meet.  Unlike other surplus collection agencies Urban Exchange: 
  • Utilizes accredited local agencies to identify specific families with specific needs
  • Provides door to door delivery to ensure that each donation reaches the family
  • Mobilizes a team of high school teens for delivery       

Although dated styles are fine, please consider the following guidelines:

  • A quality - Brand new condition
  • B quality - Gently Used
  • C quality - Loved alot, but no tears or stains
